Information we collect

Contact details. Your name, phone number and email address.

Business information. Your legal business name, EIN, business address, website, opening hours, phone carrier and domain provider. We need these to set up your services and to register your business for texting with the phone carriers.

Forms, calls and texts. What you send us through our forms, and records of the calls and texts that go through our services.

On behalf of our clients. A customer's first name, phone number and email address, where the client business gives them to us so we can send review requests.

From tap and scan activity. When someone taps a stand or scans its QR code, our redirect service at dimemedia.co records the time, the type of device, and which card was used, before forwarding to the review page. We do not collect names, phone numbers or precise location from a tap, and we do not identify individual people.

Server logs. Our hosting provider records standard web server information, including IP addresses, for security and reliability. The provider keeps these logs on its own schedule, and they are not used to build profiles of individuals.

Website analytics. We use Vercel Web Analytics to count page views and see which pages are used. It is cookieless: it sets no cookies, stores nothing on your device, does not follow you to other websites, and does not build a profile of you. It records the page, the referrer, and coarse device and country information derived from the request, and never an IP address we can read.

Payments. Card payments are processed by Stripe. We do not see or store your full card number.

How we use it

To provide and support our services, to register your business texting with the phone carriers, to bill you, and to stay in touch with you about your account.

For our clients, that means sending review requests on their behalf and reporting how often their cards were used. We do not use our clients' customer contact information for our own marketing.

How we share it

Only with the service providers that help us deliver our services — our CRM and messaging platform, our payment processor, our hosting provider, and the phone carriers and texting registration providers — and only as far as they need it. We also share information when the law requires us to.

We do not sell personal information.

Text messaging

Customers of our client businesses receive text messages only where the client business has an existing relationship with them and has their consent. Those messages are limited to service-related review requests. Anyone can opt out at any time by replying STOP, and an opt-out is honored permanently across all of our systems.

No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties, excluding service providers who help us deliver our messaging services.

How long we keep it, and how we protect it

We keep information only as long as we need it to provide our services and meet our legal obligations.

In practice: client account records are kept for the life of the account plus seven years, for tax and legal purposes. Customer contact lists are kept while the client is active and deleted within 30 days of the account closing, at the client's request. Opt-out records are kept permanently, because that is what makes an opt-out permanent.

We use reasonable safeguards to protect the information we hold.

Your choices

To stop receiving texts, reply STOP to any message.

To see, correct or delete the information we hold about you, email info@dimemedia.co or call 801-734-5948. If you are a customer of one of our client businesses, you can also contact that business directly.

Children

Our services are for businesses. They are not directed to children or to anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect their information.

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, we will post the new version on this page with a new date.
