About
Three founders, Salt Lake County, and a box of cards in the back of a car.
Dime Media started by walking into local businesses and demonstrating the product on the counter. That is still how most of our customers meet us, and it is why the site has to be honest — the person who typed this URL in is often standing three feet from one of us.
How we started
The product came out of a simple observation: almost every business owner we met knew their customers liked them, and almost none of them had the Google reviews to show it. Not because anyone was unhappy — because leaving a review means opening Maps, searching a name, scrolling, tapping and typing, and every one of those steps loses people.
So we made an object that removes the steps and put it on a counter. Then we found out the hard part is not the object. It is getting somebody to mention it. That is why we ship a script and a placement guide with something that could just as easily have been sold as a chip in a card.
We are three people. We design the cards, we set them up, we drive them out across the Wasatch Front and set them up, and we take the calls when something goes wrong.
How it actually went
Four things that happened.
- 01
Garrett
Garrett is the reason this exists. The idea was his — a chip in a card, tap it, the review page opens — and he built everything underneath it. The idea isn’t complicated. Making sure a card printed today still works in three years is.
- 02
Tayson
Tayson had three years of knocking doors behind him, and a couple of businesses before this one. Long enough to know what an owner sounds like when he’s being pitched, and what he sounds like when something actually helps. He’s the one who walks in the door.
- 03
Austin
Austin runs everything you see of us online. Every video of a card getting tapped, every photo of one on a counter — he shot it and cut it. If this looks like something worth putting next to your register, that’s him.
- 04
The first counter
We ordered a few cards and set the first one on a counter to find out whether any of that mattered. Eight sold in four days.
What we won't do
The things we decided early.
We do not publish a customer count.
Every company in this category claims thousands of businesses served, and their own pages contradict each other — one competitor says 12,900 on the home page and 11,500 on the next. When we have a number worth publishing it will have a date attached and it will be true.
We will not sell you a review filter.
Two funded competitors sell software that routes unhappy customers to a private form before they reach Google. It is banned, Google's April 2026 policy named it, and enforcement lands on your Business Profile. We built the product so that it cannot do that, which is a harder sell and a better one.
A person answers the phone.
Not a chatbot, not a ticket queue. If your card stops working on a Saturday, the number on this page reaches one of us.
The link is yours forever.
Everything we print routes through a link we host, so nothing you have already put on a counter ever goes dead. Competitors ask you to reprogram chips one at a time with a phone app. We think that is a confession, not a feature.
Where we are
Utah, and everywhere else by post.

Inside Salt Lake County we will come to you, place the stand on your counter and tap it ourselves before we leave. Outside it, the card ships pointed at your listing and tap-tested — the set-up is the same, we are just not standing there while you do it.
